As it was everything went great. Trin slept through Velvet and Haystack. She lost her first tooth at Rock Island and the Tooth Fairy found us there and she soaked at Sheepeater, Sunflower and Hospital Bar. She was also the first to see the bighorn sheep in the lower canyon and she didn't complain once on that very chilly last day float out.
Trin got a horseback ride with some packers who were camped on the upper bench at Sheepeater.

Trin caught her first fish ever at Dolly Lake. The one bending over her rod was about a 16 inch cutthroat that we got to the boat but couldn't quite get out of the water for a picture. The one I am holding was the little brother of the at about 13 inches. This got Trin all fired up for fishing and led to several monumental snaggles of leader later on. She seemed almost in shock at the catching of these fish. Awesome.

The next day we ran down to Lake Creek. Trin walked around this one and had a good time watching all the boats go through. Sterling had a close one with the tree, but did a good spin move at the right time and had no trouble with the rest of the run.

This is me making the first move of the wretched Lake Creek Stump Run.

Playing and hanging with new friends around the fire at Little Soldier camp.
